What is the purpose of Together Making Changes?
Together Making Changes is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization created for the purpose of supporting initiatives of interest to TMC team members, residents, and patients. Our efforts are focused on promoting positive health, education, spiritual, and financial outcomes in our local communities.
What is the Together Making Changes mission?
Together Making Changes serves as the catalyst for passionate people to enrich the lives of others in the communities we serve.
What is the 2019 initiative?
The TMC family selected the Alzheimer’s Association as our 2019 National Initiative. This nonprofit is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Their mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. They work on a national and local level to provide care and support for all those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. As the largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer’s research, the Association is committed to advancing vital research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure. The Association is the leading voice for Alzheimer’s disease advocacy, fighting for critical Alzheimer’s research and care initiatives at the state and federal level. What does a volunteer do?
Volunteers participate in local events, activities, and fundraisers. Volunteers may also make charitable offerings that support our platform. Our volunteers can choose to give their time, talents, or treasures in support of Together Making Changes.
How can I support Together Making Changes?
You can donate money and/or give your time and talents to this life-changing initiative. To donate money, TMC employees simply elect to enroll in payroll deductions, or donate through the Together Making Changes webpage.
Payroll Deductions: You can enroll and un-enroll in payroll deductions at any time. To enroll, simply log into ADP to enter your deduction amount per pay period. The form can be found under the “Benefits” tab on the homepage. You may also contact your HR representative for assistance.
Website Donations: You can also donate with just a few clicks on the Together Making Changes webpage. To get started, click on “Make a Donation.” Donating your time, talent, and services: Our volunteers find it highly rewarding to contribute their time and energy to a higher purpose. Is Together Making Changes not-for-profit?
Yes, Together Making Changes is a not-for-profit organization. As such, our organization uses 100% of all funds collected solely to support initiatives focused on promoting positive health, education, spiritual, and financial outcomes in the communities we serve. Mark and Dreama personally take care of all administrative costs associated with Together Making Changes.
